Good thread to have during hunting season every year. With that being said, divers and gwt galore today! Also some groups of specks. Central IL.
    Anyone else?

You should have been here from 6:05 until 8am. Best opener we have had in a long time. Nine hunters with three of them being kids and nine limits. Mostly teal, some gadwall and only one mallard.
Why don't you stop in sometime?

It is very slow in the Havana area. Maybe with the upcoming wind events forecasted for Thur-Sat we'll get a little action

Up here in the far northern part we have noticed no big concentration of ducks. Seems like we have been getting new birds coming in but not staying almost every other day. One day the marsh is loaded. The next day its a ghost town. A couple days later new birds. I wouldnt expect any big push of ducks. I think its another year with a slow trickle migration. The geese will probably be a different story. They are in thick. With the weather forecast we have they wont be going anywhere for a while.
