    Just what it says.
I will fire off and say I have a lot of skepticism about the f35.
Looking to hear what people think about what we choose to invest in for the military purpose.
It's the number one function of govt to ensure safety for citizens...

By 2035 the US military will be able to afford just one tactical fighter. The Air Force gets it Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The Navy has it Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Marine Corps has it on Sunday.

What would have been the other options for that $400 BILLION spent on F35s?

How many more F22s? How many Shadow Eagle F15s? How many new-build F16s with newest technology?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think only the USAF model works. The Navy version can't fly with full fuel and weapons. The Marine version is just plain scary.

Air Force: I'm an F-16 and an F-22 for air superiority...man myself. For ground attack A-10 100%.

Navy and Marine Corps. F-18 and F-35 respectively.

Better get them all upgraded...built or fixed...pronto quick.

I sincerely believe we don't have much time left before StinkStorm 3.0.

Let's say you have a Nimitz class carrier loaded up to the gills with planes...
Can't a nuke sub inflict more damage cheaper?

Don't most combat loaded carrier based aircraft launch short of fuel and top off upstairs with tankers as necessary?

    This is API's wheelhouse.

Depends on what type mission the sub is designed for I believe. (no way am I an expert or even competent to discuss Naval tactics)

That's my take too. It's not like we can push a button and destroy NK.
But I do think nukes can do the most damage maybe most bang for the buck in terms of incapacitating them into irrelevancy.
Collateral damage will happen if we do...
