I'm not a huge zombie fan, but I really enjoyed the books by J. L. Bourne. The story is told as if it were him keeping a journal of what is going on. I bought the combo book that has 1 and 2 in it. It was a quick read but I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the 3rd books release.

He is an active duty military guy, just back off a tour and so the 3rd book should be getting finished up soon.

Check out a free chapter to see if you like it before buying it:

I'm about 1/2 through World War Z so far. Not too bad. Something alittle different than what I've read before.

I just finished "American Sniper",by Chris Kyle. Its a really good look inside his tours in Iraq. He had 160 confirmed kills, the highest in Navy Seal history. He had closer to to 300 total kills including non confirmed ones.
If anyone doesnt remember,Chris Kyle was murdered in early February this year. He has another book coming out in May this year called "Americn Gun" that he was finishing up when he was murdered.
