When do you all put out a scrape? I have a small area and don't want to get out too much and bump deer out looking for scrapes.
Another site I posted to suggested making a scrape and peeing on it, sounds like someone screwing with me :dvbut who knows?
Bow season starts in two weeks getting anxious.

They're not goofing on you. Save that morning coffee pizz for your scrap, set up your camera and wait.

Have had good bucks pee right over the top of mine.

I use to put out mock scrapes in Aug. No pee, just a gel on the licking branch. Hung a camera on them and would get tons of big buck pics. Sadly I have not seen that scent in several years and believe it is no longer available but man did it work great for getting early activity at night from mature bucks

No they aren't screwing with you. I have pee'd in a deer scrape before and not long after a buck would come and pee right over mine. I make scrapes all year long and use Tinks Mock Scrape Spray and it works like a charm. Spray it on a real scrape and watch the reaction of the buck that made it. It's deadly
