a- thunder IT has started from what we saw tonight. I take back what I said before..
Mallards Everywhere on Lower IL river. I am curious to see this weeks Aerial Survey. I am estimating 400,000+ on IL River.
If you hunt the IL river I would suggest staying all day if possible. We have seen more ducks (that are wanting in) in the afternoon.

You must be waaaaaaay down on the lower IL River if you're seeing that many ducks.. It's dead from Marshal north... Nothing came wiht this last storm and we're hurtin now
I was hunting the illinois river bottoms today. Had a pretty good day yesterday!! Killed 17 total. From daylight to dark. I don't know if anybody else is having the same problem getting the ducks to finish?? It seems the later it gets the better the ducks work. Saw alot of travling ducks today mostly towards the evening though. I agree ILDUX35 stay all day if possible the hunting gets better.

Ducks will come into about 80 yards locked and comin......and vere off and land about 140 yards away.... ***!

How you guys been doing at your place? we hunted friday saturday and sunday...I killed 4 ducks all weekend...friday shoulda had my four but lost one and missed a greenhead that I called back 2 times...the little ******* deserved to leave!
Just a tip from up nort eaverything shallow is froze up tight southeast to central Wi.
