I have an f70 on an 1860 SeaArk and it is a fantastic motor for the boat. She runs high 38 with not much of a load but low 30s with a hunting load. That said if I had a 2072 I would be looking for a larger motor.

I have 1754 war eagle with a side console, Yamaha f70 with less than 10 hours on it. Took it out yesterday, 36 mph with 2 men, 4 dozen decoys, blind bags and guns. On slick water with less than 5 gallons of fuel on board

Mercury makes their 4 stroke 115 in tiller compatable version presently. My 2072 duckhawk seaark has the walkthrough rear seating w floor pedestal set up for seat to run big tiller.
