Moving to GA--like so many others

    I can't believe there is only a week season on them in September. Here it is 25 days with 5 a day. Guess I will have to break out the bow, rifle and black powder.

    What is the turkey hunting like? I assume pretty good.

    Turkey Hunting (and killing for some of us) is great in Georgia. It almost makes up for the lack of waterfowl opportunity.

    Within an hour in any direction from Atlanta you are in great Turkey country. PM me when you get settled and I'll give you some areas to check out.

    thats why i was telling you about my early season goose hunts woodie... all that was in a week!
