We killed all three Scoter species last year in two days with Brian Rhodes (Swampers) in RI, as well as a bunch of Eiders and even some black ducks. I'm sure Pitboss might know where to kill one or two Scoters as well:tu Good luck and nice trophy room.

Duckinfool, thanks for the info. I thought about going north as well and trying to knock out an Eider as well.

And the Scoter. Now I need the drake!

The small tan speck in the right foot was an old shot hole that was already healed up when I shot it.

I already had a bufflehead mounted but I shot this one the same day I shot the Canvasback. I was in NC at the time and had to drive home that day so rather then take the time to clean one bird, I figured I would just get it mounted.

    Enjoy!

Some of those are really great. Some need a little "finishing work" on the feathers. You used the same guy?

He really stretched that pinner out man... Maybe just the angle. BUt your right on the P/B thing he nails all three, been several times and there is never a shortage !

    Waterfowl fool,

Thanks, they were done by three different people. The majority are done by a friend though. I was talking to Captain jack as well the other day about doing a hunt as well. My friends this year are heading to Texas and I can but can't make it this year to Texas. I'm in the process of building a house and will be getting married next summer. I figured I should save some money and do another hunt close to home this year. It'll be NC, MD, RI or MA this year.
