Ok guys - I'm pretty pumped up....ok REALLY pumped!
Went out for a quick hunt this morning and had a group of Woodies bomb in - as they did, I noticed a "Mallard" with them. As it was the most noticable bird - I dropped it (and missed a second bird! LOL).
When the dog came back - I noticed immed. it was not your normal Drake Mallard.....in fact - I almost came un-glued when I saw how it was a mix up!
In all the 20+ years of hunting have never come across a bird like this!
Hopefully the pictures will do the bird justice but I have to say it is the most beautiful bird I have ever seen - its covered in irradesent purples.
Gosh I am excited - and yes its going on the wall!
    Are these mixes common?
