    My first Pheasant hunt.
I went to North West Kansas of the last weekend of Pheasant season and saw a lot of birds but we didn’t have enough people to block the large fields, but I still got 4 Pheasant and 5 Quail.
We had a really good time; I think I’ll go back for the opener this next season.

Congrads on your first hunt. I've been going out west on and off for the past 10 years. Nothing much like it. If you go back with that number of folks try hunting some smaller spots that may have been over looked by other hunters. I'm not sure if Kansas offers road hunting. If they do, walk the ditches toward a natural or man made barrier like a hill or a tile. These barriers will serve as your blocker.

Very nice :) Wild pheasants are great, but they flush fast :)

Looks and sounds like a great hunt.:tu

I think I would be as interested in chasing the quail as the pheasants. Did you see many quail, or just get lucky?
