Congrats man! I just took my first one last Wednesday after 17 years of duck hunting. They are definitely a beautiful bird! We dropped down to a one bird limit in Illinois now as well. Couldn't keep em outta the decoys that day after I shot mine.

Good deal. I hope thats the case for me. Ive just never had much luck decoying them lil boogers...seems like they only wanna stay 80 yards or so out, or theyre a mile high and headin south.

When I was hunting in Texas we only had 3 decoy out of 12 they acted like they wanted in but would sail off after a while

Congrats, twice now. After 30 years of living and hunting in the midwest, I had never shot one. 10 years ago I moved to California and now I get them on a regular basis.

Congrats! Good news the Federal Fish and Wildlife Service is recommending for the 2018-2019 season, an increase in Pintail daily bag limit of 2 again, according to a recent article in the Delta Waterfowl Magazine.
