REALLY NICE BOAT!! It was great to meet you and your wife at HdG!!
I know everyone is probably ready for this thread to end I never thought it would be this long. A few people had ask about the speed. She'll run 45 mph. I think she may have a little more in her. I'm still learning the in and outs of the jack plate, yeah, I know it moves up and down. She jumps out of the hole as quick as any boat I've ever been in. I hope to get in some rough seas soon. Thanks for all the interest.
45mph you should be able to get more out of a 21' footer with a 200hp Suzuki. How many RPM are you getting at full throttle. A prop change may get you the added speed. I'm getting 53 knots on a 21' Bankes with a 150 Suzuki. You want to get around 5300-5400 RPM at full throttle I believe the Suzuki rev limiter is set around 5500-5600 check the owners manual.
Sounds like you may have the wrong prop on the boat. Is the prop stainless or aluminum?
I've been living on the coast all my life, and around some pretty salty people, and I don't think I've ever heard that one before! Awesome looking rig, guy. Wish you the best of luck with it.
