All my kids started hunting with me when they were 3. We start working on gun safety early also, but they don't start shooting until they are physically ready. My middle son is about to turn and loves shooting the little 20 gauge we have. That being said the first spilt was beyond slow, second split opener brought a few more birds and a drake dos gris landed right in the dekes. He put it down with one shot! A little while later two greys came in and he shot them both with one shot! He thinks hes the greatest duck hunter ever!

Pretty cool video. Congratulations to your son. As a father I was more fired up than my son when he killed his first.

Rurnt for life. Those ducks will cost that kid a million dollars in lost time and income. Dude, kid kills 2 with one shot, Dad says "you're shooting too high." Well, congrats to the kid and Dad.

Give a boy a duck and he will eat a meal. Teach a boy to duck hunt and he will go broke. Make sure your son only falls in love with girls who have plenty of old family money.
