    Nice picture and sentiment! I am at a crossroad myself - not sure if I want to start a new pup to go along with the two in the avatar because they might live longer than I do!! LL

    I was scratching the head of my 11 yr old Gracie, and I started to tear up thinking about her getting old on me. Its the worst part of owning a good hunting dog is that we know that some day they are going to leave us. The memories, on the other hand, are forever. I will, like you, cherish them forever. Thanks for the memories.
