Need help...Grass for blind - Fred Zink's Recommendation

    Here in Minnie, I've been using what I call just native marsh grasses.
    There is no leaf, just a straight thigh high grass that grows even in low areas of ditches too. I've used it for over 45 years because it blends well, you can 'fog' it lightly with a green & brown spray paint the next year after it dries & fades. It's really tough stuff---holds up well on the highways.
    It resembles the old fashion 'corn broom' ----with the tough natural long stems. Great stuff, & FREE for the cutting. I use a Stihl brush cutter with a saw blade to make short work out of the cutting in summer heat.

    Thanks for the images. I think I'm going to give up my burlap with grass wire tied to your system. I like how tight it rolls up and the reeds protect the grass, and how it looks so natural. Home Bebop here I come!
