Laying the blind yesterday I saw lots of birds moving in mostly geese.
I saw the same thing on the east side of the state...Seemed early for a reverse migration but saw birds all day headed back north...
Drove through our big refuge in N. Alabama yesterday, and saw a lot of birds (for that area this early) that weren't there a couple days before. It may be beginning for us.
Maybe they aren't flying north, but east.
Specks and a few bunches of snows heading SE yesterday.
Saw 6-7 bunches of snows heading SE this AM.
Snows were non stop yesterday while I was in the deer blind. Lots of new ducks in and a few had their migration stopped. Will finally be able to hunt around home starting Saturday. Had to make a 15 min drive to get into birds this morning.
Heavy migration day yesterday in my neck of the woods. Little Canada's when I was in the tree stand in the morning and specks and snows non-stop in the afternoon. It was pretty amazing, I sat 30 miles further west yesterday morning and saw/heard nothing but Canada's. Moved east for the afternoon sit and 99% specks and snows.
Lots of birds moving yesterday. And got to play a game of PACMAN with some one putting up reflectors to mark trail.
I saw some reflectors in the marsh this morning. Neat little gadgets; I wonder where they got them....
Right...I thought I got most of them.
Nom... nom... nom... can’t believe folks still try to put those on public land.
