On the Home lake this morning. Lots of snows going by. Saw no shallow water or pond birds. 4 large wads of birds rafted in opens water at 815am. Did not appear to be trading. No big rigs out, one brave soul in a layout on open water. Marshes packed. On property from 715 till 900am. Heard no shots. Deer hunters giving up too early. Saw 3 pairs chasing this morning. Nothing wonderful. Talked to a guy coming out of the woods at Wades branchabot 745am. Said it’s too windy, for the deer to move. Saw one pair 10 minutes before talking to him. Saw 2 after. Never too windy when it’s peak of the rut, IMO.

I never heard of reflectors before - are they to scare away the geese (that came up when I googled it). Huh.
