Duckologist.....what is your current setup?
It's not a Matthews so it has to be a POS. No sense in talking about it.
I would say shoot em and decide. I havent shot either. I dont want to shoot the Z7 because I love my DXT! Had a bowtech that I sold 2 years ago and to be honest prob will never own anotherone.
Duckologist I bet you aint got a bow. I bet you are a crossbow queen!
Nice try......I am guessing a PSE Nova.... (Maybe even bought it as a combo package with sight and all!!)
Ok ok! Ross Cardiac, QAD Ultra rest, Toxonics 3 pin sight.
It's OK Ducko...they all wind up shooting Bowtech technology. It just takes a few years for Mathews and Hoyt to catch up.
Think about Bowtech's meteoric rise to being one of the top bow companies in the world. It wasn't through marketing. They didn't have a lot of pro shooters and TV hunters pushing their products. Their innovations appear on other companies bows the next year. Go back and look at Patriots, Guardians, the Binary Cam system, vertical force technology...it all winds up in the other bows.
I know, I know...Bowtech's don't have Monkey Tail string silencers.
The marketing creates a sympathetic bond. Michael Waddell shoots Brand X and I can too. It must be good. Once the purchase is made, the owner defends not just the product but their decision making.
A buddy of mine has an archery shop. We shoot all of the new bows that come out. Overall consideration of the qualities that make a good hunting bow...the Bowtech wins every year.
Smooth draw, long brace height, firm wall, fast arrow speeds, quietness, accuracy, stay in tune, lack of hand shock. Win.
I have a mathews reezen that is about to get demoted to being my boat anchor.
Never liked the Reezen myself.
I liked that bow - shot it for a few weeks - passed on buying it though
No way, its too superior for that.
