I just moved to Alaska a few years ago, and that is when I started waterfowl hunting. Still leaning, so I'll have some questions. I live in a Bush Village on the Lower Yukon River, so the goose and swan hunting is excellent, and is much cheaper than purchasing cheap hamburger meat in the only store here, an Alaska Commercial Store. We are about 375 miles by plane from the road system of Alaska, so I hunt for a lot of our meat to keep the monthly expenses down (I know, it's terrible to have to hunt all the time to save money...or not!). Been using a Remington 870 cobbled together from three different guns, it's a 3" inch 12 gauge. I was given a 10 gauge bps for my birthday earlier this month, so looking forward to using it this fall.
