I've been busy working with my 12 week old Chessie pup, this is my third Chessie and she is doing great. Won't be ready till next season, but I will expose her to a little bit this season. Pic is Marley helping me clean out the duck boat. 20170929_153516.jpg

Good luck. It is fun to work on a pup and watch them develop.

Hopefully I can bag a wood duck on the coastal opener , I would love to see her reaction to the bird.(She is too young to go) I exposed her to an old pheasant wing and her reaction was intense, very happy with her. Her basic training is coming along and she performed her first swimming water retrieves the other day. Have had her out in a boat while trying to catch fall trout, to get her used to boats, that is a work in progress. boat.jpg
