Many people do not realize that here in North Carolina, we have the world's largest black bears. Due to the nutrient rich soil, we are able to grow crops such as corn and peanuts that is a big part of a bear's diet. Our farming and management practices ensure that we not only have food for the bears, but that we also have ample cover and low pressure. Another reason as to why we have such large bears is because of the fact that they don't have to hibernate. Our somewhat mild temperatures keep the bears active year-round. Come experience the rush of hunting eastern North Carolina's monsters!
