Once again the State of Alabama Conservation Department has set the teal season one week earlier than is mandatory. While our Louisiana Brethren set their season for the last two weeks allowed...Alabama still messed up!

I live on the Mobile Delta, where the teal almost always arrive after the 14th. Instead of allowing us the most opportunity at the teal..the ADCNR pushes the season on us before the teal arrive!

Maybe you guys in the north end of ALABAMA see lots of teal in the first week of September, but the traditional migration occurs in the second half of September into October.

Why does Alabama set the season too early? Louisiana is smart enought to wait!

Yep agree totally. I didn't get a chance to go, but reports were poor. No birds here yet. If I had it my way, teal season would be the last week in Sept through first week in Oct

Glad you could find some! Bet your friends were not as Lucky. Never seen a double banded teal. Gotta give you props on that!

THe Teal Season in ALABAMA should NEVER start before the 14th of September!

I'll be going to the Louisiana Marsh at the PROPER Season's End.

    MobileMike...Out!
