I tried my best for my boy to get on the big one he couldn’t get on him I yelled three times to get him to stop but he had women on his mind finally he was about to top the ridge behind us. I had my boy stand up and prop on a tree all he could see was his head. So I let him know I couldn’t let him walk so I grabbed my rifle and all I had was a high shoulder shot. I let one fly and really didn’t know if I had got him or not because he had already topped ridge. I felt so bad I was apologizing to him and let him know that the shot wouldn’t bother the deer since they were in rut and not 10 min later his walked about 20 yards in front of us chip shot for him.

    Good memories there.

I had to chuckle when I first glanced at the picture. Thinking Georgia and you look rather heavily dressed but I guess it’s all relative. We sat in deer stands Saturday morning and it was -9
