will, with plus temp's in double digits next week, I don't think winter is here, at least not to stay too long.

Either which way it goes the birds will be on the move big time over the next couple days. Sure the hockey's will tough it out and so will some of the snows many will pick up and head for the snow line. The specks are the ones I expect to see move the most since they are such wimps.

Probably 80% of the snows that were here last week are now gone. Good mallard numbers will remain till hard freeze up. Saw 1 other vehicle today while scouting nearly the entire valley. Wimps.

Tell you one thing I have grown to hate your weather service! Environment Canada is a flipping joke they hardly ever make updates and when they do it tends to be about six hours after it happend! Gee thanks captin obvious who would have thought Saskatoon was going to get 10cm of snow when they already had 15 on the damn ground!:dohI used to think ours were bad but they don't hold a candle to those yahoo's.

We went out scouting today and there are more snows around, not less.

Slush, slop, snow and mud will be the main issues, not lack of birds

Dean, are you seeing new birds in North Dakota? If we can get to Sunday the forecast start to moderate in Saskatchewan.

Be aware of the very soft grid roads. I know of one farmer already posting his land due to hunters leaving deep ruts on his road.

I'm laid up post surgery so won't be able to scout till late next week. Did hear some specks rolling over bismarck last night when I stepped outside for a second.
