Depends on the model. Some models don't have forward assist or even dust covers. Sport models etc. Then others are the full blown 16" barrel M-4 configuration.

    Deflect? :scratch Define "gun control".

    Is an accessory a gun?

It's tantamount to Mothers Against Drunk Drivers going after banning Beer Bongs. InBev could care less - it won't cut into their sales.

I think everyone is looking towards 2018. Traditionally mid-terms are not good for the party of the sitting President.

Why wasn't the Dem controlled Senate able to pass a watered down gun control Bill when they held the majority right after Sandy Hook back in 2013?

They all followed Harry Reid? Or their constituents?

Very simple. Lots of Dems are owned by the NRA as well. Like I said, the NRA is part of the swamp. They call the shots. No pun intended.

So when a Dem and a Repub run in the same district and the NRA contributes their $2,700 to each candidate - who decides who wins? Russia?

I agree a 100% with that. I believe if I remember right 48 democrats sent a combined letter to Pelosi at the time that they would not vote for any further gun legislation.

They know what their voters want. There is a divide at times between the big city democrats and the farmer rural democrats.
