This place is going to BLEEP in a hand basket.
Oh my... This House IS Sho Gone Crazy.... You kind of look like that guy in the kitchen on one of the old 3 stooges Todd... Cant believe your here
I think that should be your AVATAR.... Brant Ninja....Lookout!
Shane, here is the info on the Brant from the same place as one of yours. has to be where all hermits want to go live!!
Mine was banded on Igalik Island, AK, about 27 miles ESE of Barrow. I'm still waiting on my certificate (and before someone says something, yes I know they don't mail them anymore, I'm still waiting on the emailed version).
Figure the miles on that one. Amazing flight!
Pat, Yours was banded by the same guy that did mine in 06. Get this... The bird band lab sent me an email on (LNL) Tarsus plus Metal band... They said the band number didnt match up... Asked me to take a pic of the metal... I reconfirmed to them that it was accurate.. Then they said.. that it was supposed to be on a cackler! and that there was no record of a Tarsus band.. It is an old Avise with clearly legible numbers.. this will be interesting
LNL is on the left... sure doesnt look like a cackler
Shane, Todd will have to be the Pacific brant Ninja as we have a Brant Ninja in NY already.
Shane, I am pretty sure in my limited knowledge that the bird is a Brant! Interesting as how that will play out. Hard to imagine the miles those birds have flown. Keep me posted and hope we can get some info on the web-tags.
Over 3200 miles one-way, straight line distance.
