OK..who's ate nutria??

    Hey Dogg: I'll ditto benelli and take you for a hunt and cook you some of the best dark meat chicken you ever tasted. Then we can top it off with a turtle sauce piquante.

    I am sold on the cooking part and turtle.. I will try the rat.. I am into that takeing risk thing. I lived in Lafyette for two years and loved it all... Y'all my kind of people... Party hard and cook great..

    Well the other coonasses purdy much covered it here already. I will agree with Duckgod that I too have passed nutria off as rabbit!!!

    How do you cook those things and are they fit to eat? Kentucky lake is lousy with them. Never seen anybody but tourists or the occasional old black guy keep one. I've heard older folks talking about how they used to can carp and fix them like salmon patties too, but never hear of anyone doing that anymore.
