I grew up around the Illinois and Mississippi river in Illinois. I recently moved to the Olympia Washington area. Where can I go to duck hunt round me and any other helpful hints would be appreciated.

Go to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife website. Go to the Washington forum on this board. Lots of opportunities but don't expect folks to give you a roadmap to the honey holes they have taken decades to find.

    Welcome to this Forum!

If you live in Olympia; you are very near the home office for the WDFW...Visit it and the HUNTING section of their website.

There are hundreds of places to hunt waterfowl. People are all the time telling me where to go!!! Jokin!
Come to our Chapter meeting at the Evergreen Sportsman's Club near Littlerock on the 6th of September at 7:00 pm sharp. We'll tell you about all of the public areas on the wet side.

Occasional skybusters? :l :l :l Skybusters are the norm not the exception in those areas especially around Elma. I have pushed for a 15 or 25 shell limit on all state and public access land in that area in the past.
