Felt like garbage today when I got up, and was even worse when I got done running the snow blower in -10 weather, so this afternoon I stayed in my nice warm basement and worked on getting colors on my cork woodducks. It was a lot nicer in the basement than it was outside. :l

Put in a bit of time on this one last night; hope to have time to finish up throughout this week. I recently started carving and only have a few birds finished. I'm looking forward to 2019 and spending more time in the garage putting a rig together. Great to see some activity on this forum!

Nice to see I'm not the only one still using dark cork! Cut out the bodies for those teal heads yesterday. I'll put up some pictures when they take some shape.

I bought my 11 yo Grandson a carving kit and cut proof gloves for his birthday. I have made him some cut-outs of Fish, Shore bird and a 6 inch duck decoy. He’s be asking to show him how to carve.
