I just finished this book yesterday and I'm glad I read it. It made me realize just how close could be to being forced back into 'cave man mentality' in a heartbeat's time.

    "One Second After"

The story is set in Black Mountain, NC, a place I've been to numerous times, so the scenario was easier to picture, but it could apply anywhere.

It's all about how life progresses, or doesn't, after a nuclear EMP strike hitting the US.

I think this is the kind of book everyone of us should read and take notes as to what you might want to think about in regards to 'prepping', because, as they say, "It's not a matter of IF, but WHEN".

The "When" may or may not be an EMP burst, but we can probably bet it's going to be something we're not used to dealing with in our normal course of life.

    Good book... :tu

I really enjoyed the book, it was one of those I didn't want to put down.
