I am headed up to Toronto for work meetings on 9/19 - 9/21...would love to squeeze in an early goose hunt if the season is open right before or after. From what I can gather, the early goose season ends on 9/18.

Can any of you guys recommend a good early season goose guide (that might have availability)?!? I have used google and have only been able to contact one outfitter (Grey Bruce Outfitters). It sounds like they are already booked for the season. Any other recommendations/ideas?

Depends how far you want to travel. Grey Bruce Outfitters and St-Lawrence Outfitters, both excellent.

Grey Bruce sounded great, but they are full!

I've hunted with Frank Dunlop of County Outfitters twice now and had great time both times! Hunted Long-tailed ducks in late season in some extreme weather. Frank has a ton of contacts (family has been living in Prince Edward County since like the 1700's so he knows EVERYBODY!) and has access to some pretty good spots!

Late to the game but I believe that Luke at Wingfeather has had a couple of cancellations.
