I took my regular everyday outdoor hat and made an orange band to slip over the crown. It was easy to make and I can take it on and off in a couple of seconds. It actually works pretty well.

Lame-Duck, I just saw a band like that for sale on some site for $12... and another $12 to ship it! I'm thinking I'll make one myself also.

    Good job!

I just won an eBay auction for this hat for $37... nice surprise! It was the only L/XL of this type hat I could find anywhere for less than $60 or so, so I gave it a shot.

Now I just have to check to make sure it doesn't glow in the dark... :l

I have a McAlister Grand Prairie in Blaze and one in Shadowgrass. Very nice hat. I have both brims slightly rolled like a cowboy hat.
