    SK,

My son has a 3/4 Border Collie, 1/4 Aussie (not miniature) and we are in love with the dog. Smart, loyal and always keeping track of you when you are out with him. It's my first experience with a herding breed. We bring the dog out for a day every weekend to let him run in the wide open spaces by our house. He's just now six months old.

If I could teach this dog to retrieve birds I would! :l

Look into an American Water Spaniel. Small enough to be a lap dog and big enough to be another hunting dog (retriever/upland) for you. All of ours live in the house. UH HRCH Carolina's Duck Gumbo RN MHA WDS TDI FullSizeRender (2).jpg
