And Houston has had a 100 year or greater storm in each of the last 3 years. What is the probability of that.?

Nothing really, and most likely sensationalism by some in calling them that. We had in 09 record river levels, but actually had more cfs of water move through in 97 and 78 as well as other years.

Tv locally and nationally called it a 100 year flood. Many repeated it but it was not. More like 50 year.

You can want it to mean something but it doesn't.

100 year flood doesn't mean once every 100 years.

Keith Olbermann has prioritized damage from Hurricane Harvey below the damage from Betsy DeVos. Is this really what the left has become?

From a global perspective for the entire educational system, he might be totally correct. Her impact potentially on the US system certainly is more broad and impactful then a terrible situation in one area. That said, hopefully Houston will get all the help they need.

    COMMON CORE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT
Eel river conjectured that Betsy Vos will do more damage to the US Education system in Houston than Hurricane Harvey.

    MP.3 Construct Arguments
Describe at least one way you could construct an argument that Common Core has done more damage to the US Education system than any hurricane ever has from a global perspective.

Their are no wrong answers. Everybody is a winner. Everybody gets an "l'm Adequate Too" sticker for participating.
