anyone seen or heardof any snows in PA
No, but my Pa has shot a few snows.
I've been watching the reservoir at Muddy Creek- nuthin' yet...
I posted on the PA page that I saw a flock in Indiana (Pa) last one night, everyone - I mean everyone, thought they were swans. I bought a snow goose CD, call and some windsocks hoping I could get into them. The "swans" sounded exactly like the CD I have. I plan to check the Erie area later in the season to see if they fly by there. Where in the state are you, im in west/central now.
im in southwest....plan to do most of my hunting in the pymatuning area
Give me a yell if you want some company, I got days to burn before Christmas.
seen some around Wilmington DE...no numbers yet though
Have not seen any snows yet here in South Central Pa. Those might have been snows you saw in Indiana Pa, but everyone on Waterfowler.com and the refuge that exact day were talking about all the swans passing through Pa. You guys will probably need to head to the eastern part of Pa to find any snow action. Well good luck and I will keep ya posted if I find them.
Happy to report very heavy snow movement around southern pa lancaster chester area. seen close to probably 7000 on sat. alot at octoro resivor as well as muddy run.
I've seen quite a few at times in DelCo. Last year several thousand must have been travelling down the Delaware River to the DE refuges. They were sky high over Marcus Hook! Recently I have been seeing more and more birds flying over much further inland than I would expect.
