Cops break into the wrong house and kill a dog, it should be criminal.

It should be criminal to break into the wrong house, period.

It should be criminal to trespass in someone's backyard without a warrant while "looking for a lost child" and kill someone's dog.

Illegal for citizens, cops can do same with impunity. Must be nice to not have to live by the laws that others are forced to.

    Above the law...

    Rationalize all you want.

    In the simplest terms possible...

Cops break into a house, without authorization, and kill a dog - no problem.

Kid breaks into a house, without authorization, and kills a dog - 23 years.

If that's too complicated for you to see the irony, oh well.

I see cops giving dog training shows all the time.
A guy in a heavy suit pretends to be the "bad guy", and the police dog runs him down by grabbing his padded arm or something.

So when the cops have to go into someone's back yard where a bad dog lives, they can wear one of those training suits.

Cops don't seem to mind suiting up for a drug raid, why shouldn't they not have a couple of cops on the team, all suited up for dog suppression?

Given that line of logic the cops should also suit up in clown outfits too in case there are kids in the household...
