I get to Cedar Rapids & Des Moines areas on business several times a year. I am getting to be an old fart (67) and have always had pheasant on my bucket list.
Any thoughts on how best to get a pheasant hunt this fall? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    olepal,

Look up Safari Iowa. It is about a 45 minute drive from Cedar Rapids, south of Williamsburg near a small town called Parnell. It's a great family owned hunting farm near where I grew up. A link to their website is at the bottom of this post. If you can't find any free land to hunt, this is a great option. Good luck!
