    excuse the pun based on the bird's name :dv

    taken just for the fun of it and to see if I could hand hold braced against a patio door--thru tinted glass in crappy light ( see shutter speed:yes )and get something that had some contrast considering how gray most of the image is

    Took him out for his morning walk.Goofing around in the fresh snow we got last night.There was some deer out that got his attention in the second pic.The first one I think I'll call brain freeze he just loves to shove his face in the snow:l

    Even though it's winter, we're hard pressed to find anything even remotely cold right now. So I had to try my imagination. I hadn't tried out the Macro setting until today. I used a tripod, no flash, blue LED flashlight, 75-300 USM, +4 Macro. PS to PP

    Ok, here's my contribution for the cold project. I'm not sure if I'm happy with it, so I am looking for a 2nd pic. I really want some feedback on this, but don't want to take up room here, so I'll start another thread.

    i really like this subject,its just lacking something. i cant put my finger on it, maybe with some different lighting it would go over the top.
    and please... im just critiguing dont get offended its a great pic
