Thanks for the comments.....The way I see it the only way for me to learn is for people to comment...Good or bad, I don't care, just a comment.

I know exactly what you mean about it needing something. When I took the pic, I was in a hurry, and was just thinking keep it simple. Now I wish I would have taken the time to take several from different angles. I am sure it might have had something to do with the cheap lens, my lack of photography skills, the weird lighting, Oh, and maybe my lack of photography skill again.:l :l

Great pictures by all. I would hate to have to pick a couple out.

I think everyone is doing a good job. Especially the folks that aren't as winter "inclined" as some of us others. I can't keep checking to see the new updates.

well, I had a completely different idea that I wanted to shoot for my second shot, but things have come up to prevent me from having the time to do it. I took this image the same day as the first one I posted, and as such, it will have to serve as my second entry. I think there is some really great stuff posted so far guys. I know who I'm gonna vote for, unless we can vote twice, and then I'm gonna vote for myself too. Or maybe you just haven't posted your shot yet...Get going here guys time's almost over.
    God bless,
    Tom W

    I like the pic
I think that it is the subject, a plastic decoy, that is lacking. Were it a cork or wooden decoy, the picture would take on a whole new meaning.

Here are my two taken 1-25-2007 and 1-22-2007. I know I'm not going to win but appreciate the opportunity! Thanks for the great idea. All taken with a canon S2IS.

Bonus pheasant tracks. Not a competition photo. As close as I can get to them a couple of weeks after hunting season is over.
