Bob, your work is absolutely done to perfection, just like all the others I have seen. I enjoy seeing your creations. You are a true artist. I’ve been carving for almost 40 years and I will never be as acomplished as you or my good friend Marty Hanson. But, I still enjoy hunting over my own decoys.

Thanks for the kind comments. Marty Hanson is one heck of a carver, so that is high praise indeed. Lots of guys out there doing terrific stuff, and hours in the shop or painting studio is always time well spent.
Like you, all the decoys I hunt over are one's I've made and for me it's part of the lure of "The Sport of Kings" along with the boats, the dogs and all the other gear we love to gather. ;)

People who have some my birds are for the most part hunters who put them to use. Here's a boxed set of doves I did for one of them last summer. Love to find an old box and make it into something a bird hunter can appreciate:

Inspired years ago when I saw this Dave Hagerbaumer painting and decided "Why not?"

    Beautiful work.
David Hagerbaumer is my all time favorite waterfowl artist.
He was a true waterfowl hunter.
