Just got back from Saskatchewan. Great weather for golf but not so good for snow goose hunting. Our best day was 61 and picked on the blues.

Love the pics guys. Never, ever get tired of looking at pictures of snows. Jblev I love that water, pasture spread! Can only imagine what sort of hunt that was!

A few years ago on HS I talked about a video I had shot at Lewis & Clark Lake near Yankton, SD. It was the perfect storm and I happened to have my video camera with me. The migration was already going strong in SD for 10 days or so, when most of eastern SD received a substantial amount of snow. As a result, a reverse migration took place, with the geese flying out of the snow down around Yankton and with a constant stream of geese arriving from the south, they all met on the ice and what a sight it was!! I had this on VHS for years and recently had it placed on an external hard drive. I will see if I cannot load it tomorrow. Its a big file, so I am not sure how much of it I can download here, but it is amazing to see. Wish me luck

Did you post under a similar name on HS? ^^^^^ I remember reading your posts if so. We all miss that site. Hopefully we can continue on, here with the same info!

Yep, pretty much always use Wapiti. Ok, I am going to try and post a small video. Very inept when it comes to stuff like this...

That's awesome. Geese on final approach like that get my blood going!

Ok, so the file I tried to load was in its sixth hour of loading when I punted. I will work on getting it cut down and I will try it again.
