Okay...we had the youth hunt this weekend and some ducks got lost and they came to us. And then they came to us....and as far as I know, when I left yesterday...they were still lost and trying to find their bearings.

I realize the possibility of them being in Arkansas is remote...but I took these pics in the event they never come here again.

This is my boy Hunter...he wacked a limit of the 'lost ones'.

And wacked his first 'bull sprig'.

Da Fowl Slayer and his son over at the Black Mallard where thousands were lost, but came anyway.

Cade wacked his first greenhead that must have been lost too:

The would fly around in circles...obviously confused:

Then they would get tired of all that and sit down to think about which direction to go next:

Sometimes they would wander around right on top of us. You can tell that this greenhead is totally confused and would'nt ordinarily keep this kind of company:

In an effort to find their bearings...they would make a lot of racket and disturb the peace and quiet.

Now this one was not lost and was simply dropping by on his way to Lake Pine Bluff to give some directions to his lost brethren.

So much for being a good Samaritan.

Some would cruise around trying to figure out what to do next...

And eventually just sit down on the ice for a bit of a rest...

This ole gal dropped by for specific directions...making sure she was close enough to hear...HUH!?!?

This sucker here felt right at home...and told her if they would all just hang around until this coming Friday, they would get more specific directions, or be taken out of their misery.

Glad to see you and the youngsters had a good time and shot some birds. I can't wait to get back out there myself.
