I took a few, well a limit of pintail on a three day hunt I have four that are being mounted flying but I have two with broke wings and think they would make better sitting mounts and I'm looking for some good ideas I like the ones with the ruffled feathers just wondering if anyone has any other ideas

Give them to the taxidermist and ask what your options are. My guess is you can get whatever pose you want.

In my opinion, pintail are of the most graceful ducks in flight. The courtship flights are a delight to watch and observe. And Pintail have the reputation of being about to avoid winged predators due to their evasive flying, better than any other duck.

Most broken wings can be repaired by a decent taxidermist, and personally, my favorite pintail mounts are flying mounts... Admittedly a personal perspective.

Pintail preening are always a pleasing pose, or standing on one foot, looking alert.

I actually thought about having them done exactly like that and the one preening below the one looking alert on some drift wood
