I got a dozen of each super mag mallards and pintails brand new in box from someone who needed cash that were produced at the end. Was looking forward to them as had seen them in use Those things unfortunately were junk. Paint didn't stick - mold release agent wasn't washed off, decoys cracked. Called them up and said sorry you didn't buy them from us, not doing anything for you.
Wish Carry-Lite would come back...
I'll buy them.
Herter’s are Ok, but the heads break.
For sure. Decoy maintenance consist of fixing heads and touching up paint but I rather have a decoy with a swivel head than a fixed head. My preference
They are my go to boat decoys, and are about 25 years old. Never been re painted.
They have been used a lot. That's impressive. They do sit beautifully on the water.
Unfortunately, they didn't dupe one bird this morning. Gotta have em in the air to decoy them to the water. Another rough day.
Cost me lunch dang it!
Toledo Decoys were the answer to that. Wish they were still in business.
I got a half dozen restle coated cans on the shelf I hardly use. Solid decoy.
Freefall I could fix and paint as well as anyone but they eventually all wound up in the dump. The paint fell off and the decoys split along the keels exposing the foam. They were floating pieces of dung.
