At the risk of drawing the ire of the arkie board I come asking a question.

A few years back I hunted down there (private ground) with a "guide" that was hunting on some other guys land (with permission) for a fee. I have heard that they have fallen out and I would like to contact him (land owner) about hunting his farm. I know exactly the property but don't know how to go about finding ownership.

Does Arkansas have an online PVA website where you can look up land ownership or is it best to call the county office and ask them?

Check tax assessors website for free public search and sometimes they have maps with ownership parcels included.

if you know the legal description they'll look it up for you.

You can buy state plat books which show ownership of all land. Check with the assessors office, or google the State of Arkansas and go from there.
