Went to Portland (Sauvie Island) HRC Hunt Test last weekend and
man it was HOT ! 100*+ both Sat and Sun.
Tucker passed both days and Weezle failed on Sat and passed on Sun.
    Both dogs ran Finished.

Warm one. Unless I'm doing water work, my BLM will put forth zero effort in temps above 75° F. He does not like heat at all. Good thing I don't run tests, especially the one you were at. Pick and choose battles.

Ran a Finished test in Louisiana once where the temp was 99 degrees and the humidity was about 90%. The land test was a longer test than I would have thought under those conditions. Handlers were having to use "bye" dogs for the honor and bring their dogs back after they had cooled down enough to do the honor. Running hunt tests in the extreme heat is no fun!

    See my signature lines.
BTW, Tucker has passed 35 or his last 36 Finished Tests.
