OMG! I LOVE FJ porn!
You think he'd trade this for one of my kids? I'll throw in some snacks and drinks too...
I already tried that and offered to throw in the wife, it was a no go........LOL Needless to say he didn't hit the hard trails with us and I don't blame him, this cruiser looked brand new inside and out. It was a US Desert Storm truck that made it's way back to the US with 15 others. This one got caught in a tornado in Florida and he bought it from a guy who planned on repairing it but never did. He said it looked like it had been totaled when he bought it. This one resides somewhere in Mississippi.
I thought about mentioning a crack at the wife, but my FIL visits this site, and being a die hard Toyota hater, he mighta got mad...
Awesome! I'd love to make a trip like that sometime. That's some nice looking cruisers--that truck is awesome! Make it a crew cab and that's pretty much my dream vehicle! Man this really gives me the itch to get back to work on mine; I've got the interior completely gutted at the moment. Started with intentions of repairing a few minor rust areas before they turned bad and ended with gutting it, then progressed to intentions of doing a full on frame-off resto-mod before karate and tball and life (and the budget!) got in the way.
Maybe one day guys will be taking pics of mine to show off....
I finally did something incredibly stupid. I traded in my perfectly functional '06 Tundra on a '16 F150. I'm always looking, and I found a deal on my dream truck that I simply couldn't pass up. Well, I could have, but I didn't.
2" level with 295/60/20 toyo AT2 on fuel couplers.
Many things I still want to do, but the money is tight
That thing is too pretty to take hunting. Do you have the 6 or 8 banger?
While it is pretty, my trucks get worked. I'll likely be a bit more cautious with this one for a while, but stuff will happen to this truck. This has the stock 5.0L V8. I'm pretty sure all of the Roush's do for two reasons: 1. the non-super charged Roush still has custom exhaust. That throaty rumple can only come from a V8 and 2. The super charger is designed for the 5.0L. For the record, mine is not SC.
2010 Silverado Texas edition. It isn't the fanciest but for a hunting and fishing truck it will do and it's paid for. It if gets too Muddy or remote I'll grab the SxS. Don't laugh they are paid for.
