I named mine "The Hyapatia Lee" ....just think boats should be named after classy ladies
Don't have a name for my boat. But my motor name is D#*
"The Patsy" after my best black lab female that I had the honor of 14 great yrs with!
I have four duckboats. Only the oldest one is named, but the lettering is so faded I can't read it any more.
I gave up naming stuff decades ago.
My buddy named my jon boat Tar Baby. I had a couple of pinhole corrosion leaks that I would fix ( and fix again and again) with roof tar, the redneck Marinetex. Finally I cleaned the tar off and used Marinetex and it's fixed permanently. Maybe I'll hit those spots with some roof tar just to keep up the tradition and the legitimacy of her name.
Well, it's not really a name, but I do have this sticker on the transom of my boat:
Went with Lucky 13 (remember the old time bass lures by that name?). Almost went with Half-Fast!
I call mine "KIM" after my favorite daughter in law. And the fact that she gave me money to help buy it,has about everything to due to the naming.
