We shot three banded geese on Saturday and two on Sunday. One pair that was shot, both had bands. This bird was banded in Sept 2000 by Dr. Bob McLandress in Sheridan CA.

Drake mallard. Banded in Montana 2007. Killed on Hwy 20. The car in front of me hit a hen and a drake mallard on the way to work this morning and something told me to pull over and check them. Good thing I did... 1757 series.

That's strange, I also found a banded drake on Hwy 20 that was from Montana. But, it was hwy 20 in Lake County.
