The topic of Prayer makes many uncomfortable. Just ask them to. Why should it be? Today's churches have recited prayer, memorized prayer even songs of prayer. Nothing wrong in an of itself. You could call this corporate prayer. I'm talking about individual prayer. One on one with God.
The praying of the Word is praying in Christ. It's exclusive to the Son. To pray the Word is to bring the will of God to mind and present them to Him. "Thy will be done" for example. "My heart longs for you Lord" "Be still" are all in His Word. When we digest the Bread of Life it produces spiritual growth. Pray unto the Lord the wonders of His Word. It is only through the Word that your words are heard.
